Job Description

Job Purpose:

Support evidence-based decision-making through research, data analysis, benchmarking studies, and policy assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support policy development and reform initiatives.
2. Perform benchmarking studies and comparative analyses.
3. Collect, clean, validate, and analyze research and operational data.
4. Prepare research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and analytical summaries.
5. Conduct impact assessments and evaluation studies.
6. Support stakeholder consultations and engagement activities.
7. Support the development of materials and facilitation of workshops, roundtables, and engagement events.
8. Collect and consolidate participant feedback and stakeholder inputs.
9. Maintain research databases and knowledge repositories.
10. Support publication and dissemination of research findings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience
2. Experience in academia, the public sector, and/or the private sector, preferably in fast-paced environments such as consulting or with a key player in the logistics or trade industry.

Competencies:

1. Research methodology and analytical skills.
2. Data visualization and reporting.
3. Advanced Excel and data analytics tools.
4. Report writing and presentation development.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
6. Fluency in Arabic preferred.
7. Proficiency in leveraging AI to automate and enhance the efficiency of data analysis, research, and other related tasks.
8. Previous experience with academic publication process preferred.
