The University of Dubai (UD) is pleased to announce multiple Research Assistant (RA) openings to support multiple research projects awarded under the UD Internal Research Fund (UD-IRF) 2026. The selected RAs will work closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) on innovative, high-impact research initiatives in engineering, information technology, business, and law.
These positions offer an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates to deepen their research skills, contribute to cutting-edge projects, and gain experience in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Research Assistant duties may include, depending on the project:
- Conducting literature reviews
- Data collection, processing, and analysis
- Running simulations or experiments
- Supporting field work or stakeholder engagement
- Preparing reports, research documentation, and publications
- Assisting in prototype development, software modeling, or statistical analysis
Contract Duration
- One-year appointment, aligned with the one-year duration of the funded project.
- Renewal beyond one year is not guaranteed and depends on project needs and funding availability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred qualifications may vary by project and will be communicated during screening.
