Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  1. A Doctorate (PhD) from an accredited institution at the time of appointment
  2. A demonstrated record of high-quality research publications and teaching excellence in Management or a closely related field
  3. Practical or industry experience relevant to the discipline is an advantage
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  2. +Experience and/or strong interest in the use of diverse pedagogical methods and digital learning tools
  3. +A record of research publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus
  4. +The ability to initiate, secure external funding for, lead, and execute research and development projects
  5. +Experience in establishing and sustaining partnerships with businesses and industry relevant to the discipline
  6. +Evidence of contributing to society through research-based knowledge, innovation, and commercialization of research outcomes
  7. +Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional networks at national, regional, and international levels
  8. +Motivation to contribute to academic development and interdisciplinary collaboration within the University
  9. +Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to a collegial and constructive work environment

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  1. 1Maintain an active and productive research agenda
  2. 2Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management, as assigned each academic year
  3. 3Supervise and mentor students, and contribute to student recruitment activities
  4. 4Participate in School and University service activities
  5. 5Initiate and develop projects aligned with the University of Dubai’s vision and strategic priorities
  6. 6Undertake other academic and professional duties consistent with the role
