Job Description
The University of Dubai invites applications for the position of a Software Engineer in MBRSC LAB, for commencement of employment in October 2025. The candidate should have a Bachelor or MSc degree in Computer Engineering/Science or closely related fields and the following skill requirements:
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Strong foundation for writing efficient and optimized code.
- Familiarity with IDEs, version control (Git), and build tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, and schema design.
- Understanding of OS concepts, networking basics, and APIs.
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable systems.
- Unit testing, integration testing, and debugging techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Analytical thinking to break down complex problems.
- Creative solutions for technical and business challenges.
- Ability to optimize systems for performance, security, and reliability.
- Development Methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban workflows.
