Job Description
Position Overview:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will lead and contribute to cutting-edge research in Digital Twins, and IoT for high-rise building management. The candidate will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing real-time monitoring frameworks and data processing pipelines while supporting the mentoring of graduate research assistants and collaborating with academic and industrial partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement digital twin models for high-rise buildings, ensuring seamless integration with IoT networks.
• Configure and optimize robust data collection mechanisms, enabling real-time data acquisition, processing, and synchronization with digital twin frameworks for enhanced monitoring and management.
• Maintain real-time data flow and storage within the digital twin platform.
• Publish findings in high-impact journals and present research outcomes at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate research assistants, providing technical and academic mentorship.
• Lead proposal writing efforts for securing additional funding and grants.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners to implement practical solutions.
Qualifications:
• PhD in Digital Twins and IoT or a closely related field.
• Strong research background with a demonstrated ability to publish in reputable journals.
• Proficiency in Digital twins, data processing pipelines and IoT frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with digital twin platforms, building management systems, and cloud computing.
• Experience in proposal writing and securing external research funding.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience in real-time monitoring and predictive analytics for building management.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency optimization in smart buildings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor graduate research assistants and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with large-scale data integration and sensor-based systems in the context of digital twin technology.
